X2 Computing Launches iTablet Offering Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G Support
The X2 computing of UK has released a new tablet PC, the X2 iTablet that comes in two models, offering 10.2-inch or 12.1-inch full multi-touch display and comes equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3G support.
The X2 iTablet is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N240 ULV processor with 2-GB flash memory and offers choice of either Linux or Windows 7 as operating system and supports application multitasking, something missing in iPad.
The X2 Computing iTablet also features a USB based 1.3 megapixel web camera ( Apple’s iPad does not), a internal 250-GB SATA 7200 rpm hard drive, integrated WiFi 802.11b/g support, integrated Bluetooth 2.1 wireless connection and 3G /GSM mobile network support. In addition, the iTablet also comes equipped with three USB 2.0 ports and HDMI digital out out, both missing in Apple’s recently launched iPad for now.
Measures 252 x 192 x 35 mm in size the X2 iTablet weighs only 1.18 Kgs and also comes equipped with integrated microSD expandable memory card support and would be available in multiple colors in UK starting April 2010.
