Toshiba has today launched Qosmio F60 slim multimedia entertainment laptop that packs a broad range of premium multimedia features into a slim form factor, offering a really sleek design.

Topped by a striking, yet understated Fusion Finish in Omega Black with red chrome accents for easy and safe handling, the stylish Qosmio F60 laptop sports a contemporary sleek look and feel, that delivers all that is needed in a multimedia entertainment workstation and more. It features high-gloss, red cover and silver-colored lettering, and an elegant black interior with black color speaker grill.

The new Toshiba Qosmio F60 laptop sports a comfortable full keyboard with a numeric 10-key pad and is powered by a brand new 2010 Intel Core i7-720QM quad-core processor with Turbo Boost Technology, and it features 15.6-inch (39.6 cm) TruBrite LED backlit full HD 16:9 widescreen display powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTS 330M dedicated graphics with 1-GB GDDR5 video graphics memory delivering maximum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and up to 8-GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM.

Running Windows 7, the Qosmio F60 laptop comes with integrated Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/Draft-N and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless connectivity and also features a 640-GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive with 3D impact sensor safety technology, HDMI v1.3 digital display output port with HD support and S/P DIF, an eSATA/USB Combo port for high-speed data transfers, 3x USB 2.0 ports, 5-in-1 memory card reader and a Blu-ray disc drive optical storage.

In addition Toshiba Qosmio F60 multimedia laptop features an HD web camera, built-in high-quality Harman Kardon stereo speakers and an built-in analogue and digital (DVB-T) Hybrid TV Tuner.

Toshiba Qosmio F60 laptop offers Toshiba’s Resolution+ upconversion technology, that allows conversion of a standard-definition videos from DVD, DVD-SuperMulti or Blu-ray drives into near-HD quality. The Resolution+ also automatically downscales the upconverted image for comparison with the original image, enhancing image quality to near HD quality.

Available for starting price of $1,287, the new Toshiba Qosmio F60 also comes pre-installed with the new Toshiba’s ReelTime and Bulletin Board apps, that provides users an enhanced experience when accessing files, organizing daily activities, managing projects and more, right from their desktops.
