Sony Launches CyberShot DSC-TX5 Waterproof Digital Camera
Sony today unveiled its new Cybershot digital still cameras model, Sony CyberShot DSC-TX5, its first ever camera with high-fashion looks that offers outstanding low-light performance, high speed performance, intelligent sweep panorama option and more.
Less than a inch (17.7 mm) thick, about the size of a deck of cards, the CyberShot TX5 is the world’s thinnest and smallest certified waterproof (up to 10 feet deep) digital still camera with Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and screen touch user interface.
The CyberShot TX5 features a 10.2 megapixel sensor and is Sony’s first digital still camera with an “Exmor R” CMOS sensor technology that is also certified Dust proof, freeze proof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and shockproof up to about a 5-foot drop,
The CyberShot TX5 is certified waterproof in up to 10 feet of water for an hour, and it lets capture high-quality photos, including panoramic pictures, and 720p high definition videos effortlessly underwater. The camera is also freeze proof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and is durable enough to withstand an accidental drop from up to about 5 feet.
The waterproof CyberShot DSC-TX5 camera features an “Exmor R” CMOS sensor technology and offers 10-fps continuous burst shooting for capturing action shots and provides outstanding low-light performance allowing shooting high-quality photos even after the sun sets. ensures detail-packed pictures, with superlative low-noise imaging performance in low light.
Sony TX5 also also comes equipped with a innovative Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature that allows easy press-and-sweep motion to take panoramic photos and Handheld Twilight and Anti Motion Blur modes benefit from a high-speed burst of six frames, cutting picture noise by up to 50% for crisp, natural results in low-light conditions.
Incorporating foldable 25 mm equivalent wide-angle 4x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario Tessor lens, the Sony CyberShot TX5 camera delivers outstanding sharpness and high-quality photos and it also features a 3.0 inch diagonal, 230K pixels resolution Clear Photo LCD Plus wide touch screen display which is touch screen capable.
Sony CyberShot DSC-TX5 camera is equipped with Sony’s BIONZ processor and offer memory card slot supporting both Memory Stick (PRO Duo) and class-four and above SD/SDHC formats. The camera also features in-camera multi-shot Backlight Correction High Dynamic Range (HDR), that combines highlight and shadow detail of two separate captures into one remarkably natural looking image.
