Samsung Announces TL-105 and TL-110 Digital Cameras
Samsung has announced new additions to its ultra-thin series, the TL-105 and TL-110 ultra-thin compact point-and-shoot digital cameras, which are only 0.65-inches thick and both cameras feature a large 2.7 inch LCD color display.
Both Samsung TL-105 and TL-110 ultra-slim digital cameras offers an automatic capture mode that picks the correct scene settings that best matches the shooting environment and the same technology is also available to video recording mode too, which is quite a unique feature of these cameras.
Equipped with a 14.2-megapixel sensor, Samsung TL-110 models feature an improved 27mm wide-angle lens while TL-105 model has 12.2 megapixel sensor and is equipped with 27.5mm wide-angle lens. The TL110 has a versatile 5x optical zoom, which is paired with Dual Image Stabilization (IS) to help reduce image blur by combining both Optical and Digital Image stabilizers to produce sharp images. The TL-105 also offers an expanded 4x optical zoom and features Digital Image Stabilization.
Both Samsung TL-110 and TL-105 camera models offers high-definition video recording offering the ability to record video at a resolution of 720p / 30fps, using H.264 compression. In addition, both the cameras also offer Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology, Smart Auto (Still & Movie). Smart Auto has been upgraded from previous ultra-thin TL-100 model as it can now be used with video as well as with still images.
Both digital cameras also offers Program mode that allows the user to manually set options including ISO, white balance, metering mode, AF, and exposure compensation and available scene modes include Beauty Shot, Night, Frame Guide, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Close-up, Text, Sunset, Dawn Backlight, Beach & Snow, and Fireworks.
Both the Samsung TL-105 and TL-110 digital cameras will go on sale in Feb 2010 but there is no word on pricing as yet.
