Samsung 32GB NAND Flash microSD Card

Expected to go into mass produced starting Feb 2010, the new Samsung 32GB microSD card actually stacks eight 32Gb NAND components and a card controller. The industry’s highest capacity, production-ready microSD card is enabled by the use of Samsung’s advanced 30-nm class 32Gb NAND flash memory technology.

Till now, the highest density microSD card in the market had a 16GB capacity and was based on 40nm-class 16Gb NAND. The new Samsung 32GB microSD card is only 1mm-thick. Samsung has not indicated its prices in press release about this.
