The Opera 10.50 browser features the new Opera Carakan JavaScript engine and a graphics library Vega enabling the browser load pages faster and execute Java based web objects much faster than the older Java versions. In addition, the latest version of Opera browser is also said to include improved standards support for HTML5 and CSS3.

The Opera 10.50 browser has also clad a completely new design, adopting some of the style elements Google Chrome browser offers and provides all features of standard Opera Browser that includes Opera Unite, Opera Turbo, Opera Link and Private browsing.

The Opera Unite allows users to easily share their files, and serve content from their browser without needing to know how to setup and manage a web server. Opera Link is Opera’s synchronization service that keep user’s bookmarks shared across computers and devices.

Though Opera Link has been available since Opera 9.50, the Opera Unite feature was only included in the Opera ver.10.10, and both features require an Opera-Account to work.

Opera Turbo feature has been available  since Opera  v.10, and is a server-side compression technology, allowing web page load several times faster by compressing the web content before it is downloaded to user’s computer.

Claimed to beat the latest Google Chrome 5 (dev) and Firefox 3.7a3 browses in terms of performance, the Opera 10.50 also includes a new widget technology with which widgets created for Opera could run independent of the browser as long as it was installed.

Opera 10.50 browser (for windows platform) also features a revamped UI which makes full use of Aero effects available in Windows Vista and 7 besides fully supporting Windows 7 jumplists, and tab previews.

The new Opera 10.50 browser is free and is right now only available for Windows. Download Opera 10.50 from the Opera website.
