NEC has announced the launch of its 24-inch MultiSync PA Series PA241W widescreen LCD monitor. Aimed at professional graphics applications, this widescreen desktop LCD monitor is ideal for digital photography, video editing, print production and any environment in which color accuracy is crucial.

Successor to the critically acclaimed MultiSync 90 Series, the new 24-inch MultiSync PA Series PA241W widescreen LCD monitor continues the MultiSync 90 Series’ tradition of delivering crisp, accurate images while adding improved color coverage, sleeker industrial design and enhanced connectivity and sports a Ergonomic stand with tilt, swivel, height-adjust and pivot.

The MultiSync PA241W LCD monitor features 102% coverage of NTSC and 99.3% of Adobe RGB, an increase from 72% in the MultiSync LCD2490WUXi LCD monitor and with a 38% reduced footprint, the PA241W display allows more desktop space. In addition its new 10-bit DisplayPort and USB hub add to an already diverse set of input connectors.

The 24-inch NEC PA241W display offers native screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio and features 360 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 normal contrast ratio, In addition, it has 10-bit IPS LCD panel with 14-bit lookup table that increases color depth to more than one billion possible colors.

The NEC MultiSync PA241W LCD also offers ICC profile emulation that which loads ICC color profiles to accurately support manufacturer color spaces, Color Vision Emulation feature that allows a quick preview of colors that emulate color vision problems, is equipped with  ambient light sensor and automatic backlight adjustment for use in any lighting condition and features Carbon footprint meter that allows users to easily track carbon savings.
