NEC Launches 17-inch AS171 LCD Display Offering 2-step ECO Energy-Savings Modes
NEC has announced the launch of its new 17-inch AccuSync Series AS171 budget priced Eco Friendly LCD monitor that offer 1280 x 1024 screen resolution, improved green technology, energy efficiency and eco-friendly features and built-in 2-step ECO energy saving modes helping new display consume less power than its predecessors.
Joining the recently introduced NEC’s 19-inch AS191, AS191WM and 22-inch AS221WM, this 17-inch widescreen display is designed for small-to-medium-sized businesses and continues to promote environmental consciousness. The new AS171 LCD monitor delivering crisp, accurate images while adding improved color coverage, sleeker industrial design and enhanced connectivity.
Successor to the critically acclaimed AccuSync ASLCD73VX-BK monitors, the new 17-inch AccuSync Series AS171 LCD energy-efficient AS171 display consumes 21% less power than its predecessor and shares the an EPEAT Silver rating, and ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliance, making them eco-friendly and environmentally preferable. In addition, it has 50% less mercury in its design than its predecessor displays.
In addition, the 17-inch AS171 monitor offers 2-step ECO Mode technology allowing users to maneuver between two energy-savings modes, while its ergonomic tilt stand with tilt, swivel, height-adjust and pivot provides users the flexibility and enhanced comfort.
The 17-inch NEC AS171 display offers native screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and features 5ms fast response time, 360 cd/m² brightness and 900:1 normal contrast ratio. In addition it also offers Carbon footprint meter that allows users to easily track carbon savings.
