MSI has announced its new ultra-slim X-Slim X620 laptop that has 15.6-inch  widescreen HD display and this thin-and-light laptop offers discrete ATi 3D graphics solution, Core 2 Duo processing power in a slender chassis and SRS audio authentication, extended battery life up to 11 hours.

Measuring 39.2 x 25.5 x 3.63 cm the MSI X620 laptop weighs 2.41 kgs with 8-cells battery pack and is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo SU7300 or SU4100 processor running at 1.3GHz and 4GB DDR3 1066 MHz SDRAM, and it comes with choice of 250-GB/ 320 GB / 500 GB SATA hard drive and a built-in 9.5mm DVD Super-Multi drive.

The 15.6-inch display in MSI X-Slim X620 notebook offers maximum of 1366 x 768 pixels resolution in 16:9 aspect ratio powered by ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 3D discrete graphics card with 1GB DDR3 VRAM and the integrated Intel GMA solution. Coupled with SRS Premium Sound, the X620 laptop is able to deliver most realistic and rich audiovisual experience.

Lightweight with bright crystal color film print coating designed MSI X620 also offers MSI’s distinctive Chiclet keyboard that also produce less keyboard noise and prevents the inadvertent pressing of other keys.

The ultra-thin and elegant MSI X-Slim X620 comes with 2 USB 2.o ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, a 1.3-megapixel Webcam, WiFi 802.11/b/g/draft-n, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and a two-format media card reader, HDMI and VGA video ports, headphone and microphone jacks, and an Ethernet port. It does not sport ExpressCard slot.

MSI X620 is equipped with MSI’s exclusive 3D Boost and MSI’s exclusive ECO Engine energy saving technology which in combination with Intel’s CULV platform provides up to 11 hours of battery life. The ECO Engine technology allows choice of five power management modes viz.  video games, movies, presentations, word processing, and Turbo Battery, that automatically adjusts screen brightness, power switch, hibernation settings, processor performance to conserve battery power.

the new MSI X620 laptop comes loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) and HUAWEI Technologies’ Mobile Partner software for mobile broadband and offers ultra-long battery life of up to 9 to 11 hours.
