MSI has announced its new GE700 Gaming Series Notebook that is powered by new Intel 2010 series Core i5 or i7 Processor and features ATI Radeon discrete Graphic and 720p HD capable webcam.

The new MSI GE700 Gaming notebook is characterized by all-new exterior design, HD webcam, sub-woofer and leading SRS Premium Sound audio, clad with MSI exclusive Color Film Print on the exterior cover which is coated in black and the palm rest area in unique gold. The gradient from deep black to light gold is perfectly mixed under MSI’s detail-focused exquisite craftsmanship to present GE700’s low-keyed luxury and nobleness.

MSI GE700 Gaming notebook specially sports a unique luminescent touch-sensitive hotkey located on top of the keyboard offering well-ordered hotkeys for multimedia, exclusive GPU Boost, Cinema Pro, etc, which are further framed by modern silver borders and sided by two metallic-toned high-fidelity speakers, so as to highlight its fashion of nobility.

MSI GE700 notebook’s lid and palm rest area is coated with bright, scratch-resistant Cross-Hatch Color Film Print (CFP) patterning, and it come equipped with the Chiclet keyboard and seamless touch-pad, with the exterior utilizing MSI’s exclusive “wedge” technique.

Powered by 2010 Intel  Core i5 or i7 Processor at with 3 MB L3 cache, 1333 MHz FSB using  HM55 chipset motherboard the MSI GE700 comes with 4-GB DDR3 1066 MHz or 800 MHz RAM in 2 SODIMM 2 slots (maximum 4-GB), choice of 250/320/500 GB 7200 rpm SATA II hard drive  and  DVD+/-RW SuperMulti with Double Layer DVD Writer.

The new MSI GE700 Gaming notebook is equipped with 17.3-inch HD LED-backlit display offering 1366 x 768 pixels resolution in 16:9 aspect ratio powered by built-in ATI Radeon HD5730 discrete graphics card with 1GB DDR3 video RAM to increase the display efficiency and reduce power consumption. The supported DirectX 11 can offer the most superior 3D graphic effect to achieve the best vivid and smooth 3D visual experiences in any game for the players.

Weighing 2.9 Kgs with 6-cell battery pack, the MSI GE700 Gaming notebook also includes 2 USB 2.o ports, one eSATA/USB combo power port, a 720p HD Webcam, WiFi 802.11/b/g/draft-n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 4-in-1 media card reader, HDMI and VGA video ports, headphone and microphone jacks, and  internal Speakers. In addition, video and audio effects are enhanced by SRS Premium Sound audio and the sub-woofer.

Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled MSI GE700 also features a dedicated Cinema Pro key, a MSI exclusive Cinema Pro technology switches the system to cinema mode, in which the screen displays with more details and colors.

MSI GE700 Gaming Notebook is also equipped with MSI’s exclusive 3D Boost and ECO power-saving technologies, and it comes loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) and HUAWEI Technologies’ Mobile Partner software for mobile broadband and offers ultra-long battery life of up to 9 to 11 hours.

In addition, MSI GE700 Gaming notebook come with MSI’s exclusive ECO Engine energy-saving technology that allows choosing from five power management modes: Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office, and Turbo Battery. These modes automatically adjust screen brightness, power switch, hibernation settings, processor performance etc., so that battery power can be used in a more flexible manner and therefore effectively extended.

The MSI GE700 gaming notebook also comes equipped with MSI’s EasyFace facial recognition software for password free authentication and login and is expected to be available in early April 2010. There is no news about the price of this notebook as yet.
