Motorola MILESTONE, India’s First Android Powered Smartphone Launched
Motorola has recently announced the launch of its next gen 3G ready Motorola MILESTONE Smartphone that is its first Android 2.1 powered Smartphone in India that features full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Designed to deliver Android without compromise, the Motorola MILESTONE is a blend of form and function that offers the thinnest QWERTY slider on the market at just 13.7mm and a hi-resolution, multi-touch and pinch display with twice the pixels of the leading competitor.
For users who want the ultimate smart phone experience, Motorola MILESTONE offers the ability to use multiple applications at the same time, effortless multi-touch pinch and zoom browsing, and cinematic navigation through music, videos and maps of the world.
The Smartphone allows Work and personal emails streaming into an easy-to-navigate single unified inbox. Respond quickly with the QWERTY or virtual keypads. And plug-in calendars, contacts and social network messages with apps from Android Market

With the help of this phone Indian consumers can drive to 6 villages and 400,000 towns and explore their points of interest like premium/budget hotels, eating joints, petrol pumps, hospitals, ATMs and also the religious and tourist spots.
The Motorola Milestone Multimedia Station transforms phone into a bedside alarm clock, music player or a digital picture frame. And for navigation on-the-go, the Motorola Milestone Car Mount gets you from Point A to Point B, hands-free.
