Mitsubishi has announced the launch of two brand new wide-screen format projectors Mitsubishi EW230U-ST (Short Throw) and EX270U WXGA 3D-ready projectors targeting cost-conscious customers looking for good value in classroom or meeting room projectors.

Mitsubishi two 3D-ready projectors, the EW230U-ST short-throw model and the EW270U, offer great performance at an economical price. Even though these new projectors are part of Mitsubishi’s entry level product line, each feature a six-segment color wheel (red, blue, green, white, yellow and cyan) to produce rich and accurate colors, and are built using Texas Instruments’ DLP technology and BrilliantColor for superior color performance.
The Mitsubishi EW230U-ST and EW270U projectors are enhanced with an RJ-45 connector and integrated Crestron RoomView support for simple plug-and-play connectivity as well as HDMI for high-definition video sources.
They also include closed-captioning from supported content sources, and display 3D content viewable with DLP-Link-compatible active shutter 3D glasses.
The EW270U and EW230U-ST are both WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels capable and blast 2500 lumens and 2600 lumens, respectively. Each 3D-Ready Wide-Screen and Short-Throw portable projector offers a substantial 4000 hour lamp life (in low mode), meaning fewer replacements over time, saving time and money. As a short-throw projector, the EW230U-ST can project a 60-inch diagonal image from less than 26 inches away, so teachers and presenters do not create distracting on-screen shadows while addressing their students and audience.

Each 3D-Ready Wide-Screen and Short-Throw portable projectors a monitor loop through and RS-232 interface for flexible installation options, as well as variable audio out so users can adjust a presenter’s volume through external speakers. They are also equipped with a reinforced anti-theft security bar for security-conscious users
All of Mitsubishi’s new projectors are environmentally friendly with an energy-efficient, long lamp life and digital user manuals; printed materials and packaging cartons are made with recycled paper. These projectors also consume less than one watt of power when in low stand-by mode.
Both Mitsubishi’s EW230U-ST (Short Throw) and EX270U WXGA projector comes with Mitsubishi’s three-year limited warranty on parts and labor, and a one-year limited warranty on the lamp.
