LG Announces X200 NetBook With Intel ATOM N450 and Intel GMA 3150 Graphics
LG has announced, just ahead of CeBIT tradeshow in Hanover (Germany), its new LG X200 Netbook PC in Korean market which comes with Windows 7 Starters Edition preinstalled and features 10.1-inch display and integrated Intel GMA Graphics solution.
Weighing 1.22 Kgs with 6-cell battery, the new LG X200 netbook, like LG X140, is powered by Intel ATOM N450 ULV (5.5 watt) Processor with 512-KB L2 cache, running at 1.66 GHz and it includes 1-GB DDR2 667 MHz RAM (2-GB would have been ideal) and 250-GB Fujitsu 2.5-inch SATA 5400 rpm internal hard drive.
With Windows 7 preloaded, the LG X200 netbook weighs about 2.7 lbs with 6-cell battery and measures 270 (W) x 185 (D) x 25.4~31.7 (H) mm and it features a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlite display powered by integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA 3150 Gaphics with 3D solution and shared video memory offering 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and it includes Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/N @ 300 Mbps and 1.3 MP webcam.
Featuring new look with a very rounded design and Chiclet keyboard, the new LG X200 netbook includes a Celxpert 6-cell 5.2 AH Li-ion battery goes on sale in Korea for equivalent US $642 but there are no more details available on its release date and indicative prices for US and other markets.
