The HP rolls out in India its new HP Mini 210 Netbook which has 10.1-inch diagonal LED display powered by integrated Intel HD graphics and features a near-full-size (92%) keyboard that’s more comfortable than the ones on most smartphones and PDAs and comes with Chicklet keyboard and Chicklet touchpad with multi gesture support.

The HP Mini 210 offers several useful applications including HP QuickSync software, which allows users to sync files, photos, and videos with their notebook or desktop PC via LAN, and HP QuickWeb application that allows fast Web surfing and e-mail access.

The HP Mini 210 is powered by new 1.66 GHz, Intel ATOM N450 processor (533 MHz FSB, 512-KB L2 Cache) and offers 1-GB DDR2 RAM (2-GB max), and internal 160-GB 5400 rpm SATA II hard drive. Optionally a 250-GB SATA is also available.

The HP Mini 210 has 10.1-inch diagonal LED display that is powered by Intel GMA 3150 graphics with shared video memory that delivers 1048 x 600 screen resolution and also features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN connection (optional WiFi /n is available), and built-in Bluetooth 2.1 connection.

Windows XP preinstalled, HP Mini 210 laptop also features of 10/100 Ethernet card, a 1.3 MP webcam and internal microphone, 2 USB v2.0 ports, and 5.1 audio hardware with build-in 2 stereo speaker system of 1.5 Watts each, internal 5-in-1 Memory card reader,  and IEEE1394 Interface for high speed communication.

Available for about INR 16,000, the HP Mini 210 offers a choice of Matte Silver with pattern, Matte Black with pattern, Sonoma Red, Pacific Blue and Solid Black colors and comes equipped with 3-cell, Li-Ion Battery that provides upto 3.5 hrs battery life. A 6-cell Li-Ion battery is also available giving upto 9 hours of backup. In addition, the netbook PC sports a eco-efficient design and is fully compliant with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive.
