As the summer travel season kicks into gear, Panasonic introduces the perfect travel companion, RP-HC700 noise canceling headphones, which reduce outside noise by 92% (22dB at 200Hz).

The Panasonic RP-HC700 noise cancelling headphones are designed to filter out background noise by generating a signal of the opposite phase to effectively cancel it. Additionally, the headphones reduce low frequency noises such as the drone of a plane’s engine or a loud air conditioning unit.

The noise-canceling feature can also be switched off to allow the user to converse or to reduce background noise by virtue of the headphone’s comfortable insulated housing. When the noise canceling effect is off, the headphones can still be used as normal headphones.

Company claims that whether used to block out sound while on an aircraft or to create a tranquil environment to enjoy your music, with the RP-HC700 noise canceling headphones, are upto the challenge and even a crowded flight feels like a private flight.

These comfortable headphones feature large, 40mm drivers with Neodymium rare-earth magnets for pure, natural sound reproduction and a well-rounded response that keeps the bass pumping without overwhelming the music.

The ultra thin diaphragm is made from natural fiber bio-cellulose which has the sound velocity advantages of both aluminum and titanium, along with the warm, delicate sound that a paper diaphragm provides. Trebles are sparking clear, and bass notes are deep and rich.

Boasting ergo-design earpads made of soft, high-grade synthetic leather, the Panasonic RP-HC700 headphones provide long listening comfort. Thanks to their swivel mechanism they conveniently fold for compact storage and come with a protective carrying case, making them ideal for travel.

Panasonic RP-HC700 Headphone features

Reduces outside noise by 92% (22dB) at 200Hz

Bio-Cellulose Diaphragm reproduces pure & precise sound

Feed-forward canceling system with new driver provides high-quality sound reproduction even when noise canceling circuit is off

Two noises cut filters for low and high sound frequencies

Ergo-design Earpads for long listening comfort

Hard case included

34 hours long operation time with 1xAAA Alkaline battery

Frequency response 10Hz – 30kHz

Black Color

The Panasonic RP-HC700 noise cancelling headphones operate on one AAA Alkaline battery and have a frequency response of 8Hz – 22kHz.

The Panasonic RP-HC700 noise cancelling headphones are already available, with a suggested retail price of $199.99.

Transcend Information, Inc. today announced the release of its first HD Media Player, the DMP10 HD Media Player that offers full support for popular media formats and high-resolution digital video/audio output, and allows users a simple way to play their Full HD 1080p digital content on any TV.

Increasing number of people prefer to build large personal collections of digital content on their desktop or laptop computers.
With Transcend`s HD Media Player, users can simply connect a USB storage device to playback digital media content in the comfort of their living room or bedroom- without having to struggle with clumsy solutions such as burning the files onto DVDs or connecting their computer to the TV.

The new Transcend DMP10 HD Media Player is optimized for breathtaking high-definition (HD) video and audio quality through its HDMI 1.3 and S/PDIF digital connection interfaces.

Fully equipped with DTS and Dolby Digital audio decoding, plus Full HD 1920×1080 H.264/AVC and VC-1 video decoding, the DMP10 delivers crystal clear sound with breathtaking picture quality and smooth 24p video playback without stuttering.

For easy plug-and-play file browsing and playback, the DMP10 comes with two high-speed USB ports designed to connect external hard drives or USB flash drives loaded with HD videos, digital music and photos.

The HD media player supports the most popular HD file formats, including MKV, AVI, WMV, RMVB and M2TS, and its colorful user-friendly menu interface and wireless remote control makes locating and playing media files fast and simple.

With an elegant gloss-black design that fits well in any room, the DMP10 HD Media Player enables home theater enthusiasts to enjoy digital movies, music and photos directly on their big screen TV and home audio system.

There is no news about price and availability of Transcend DMP10 HD Media Player as yet.

Panasonic has today announced the HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 Camcoders which are claimed to be world’s first 1080/60p video capable Camcorders offering Full High Definition (HD) 3MOS camcorders with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The new Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 HD camcorders are equipped with 1080/60p video recording allowing them to record video without detail loss or Moiré pattern. And they also feature an advanced 3MOS system that produces vivid, true-to-life colors and excels in darkly-lit environments.

The new Panasonic HDC-HS700, is capable of records both to its large internal 240 GB Hard Disk Drive or to an SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card while Panasonic HDC-TM700 comes equipped with an internal 32-GB of built-in memory as well as capability to record to SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Cards.

The digital sensor of these models is capable of shooting 14.2-megapixel still images and 13.3-megapixel still images from recorded video in batched manner. Even with such a ultra-high native pixel resolution, the models equipped with a newly developed technology are capable of increasing sensitivity and reduces noise by one-half to achieve vivid images with minimal noise, resulting in excellent color reproduction, high resolution, rich gradation, and lets the user capture vividly colored images in bright or darkly-lit places.

Both Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 HD Camcoder models features high-sensitivity 3MOS system that provides an effective video image pixel count of 7,590,000 pixels resolution and separates the light received through the lens into the three primary colors viz. red, green and blue, processing each independently.

Both Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 HD Camcoder models feature a 12x optical zoom lens, which is further enhanced by Intelligent Resolution Technology with combined zoom of 18x Intelligent Zoom. The Intelligent Zoom is capable of correcting image degradation, if any, in ordinary digital zooming, extending the camera’s zoom ration to approximately 1.3X, while maintaining the image quality, thus delivering stunningly clear full-HD 1080p images.

Both models also use built-in gyro sensors that detects hand-shake to reduce blurring and POWER O.I.S. technology corrects even the slightest movement approximately five times more effectively than the previous version.

Both Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 HD Camcoder models also feature a 3.0-inch touch-screen LCD display that allows users to navigate by selecting icons on the display. An Electronic View Finder, earphone terminal and microphone terminal allow for even more control.

The Panasonic HDC-HS700 is capable of recording upto 102 hours of recording in HE mode directly onto to its 240 GB HDD and using Panasonic’s new 64 GB SDXC Memory Card, the HDC-HS700 camcorder provides an additional recording time of 27 hours and 30 minutes. While the HDC-TM700 offers upto 13 hours and 40 minutes of recording in HE mode onto its 32 GB built-in memory.

The Panasonic HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 Camcoder models are expected to go on sale in US around March 10, 2010 for a starting price of $1,680.
