The new PDS series of ruggedized industrial displays features slim-profile alloy panels that are resistant to dirt, dust, liquids and corrosives.

The line includes several size options: the 15-inches IK-PDS-1502, the 17-inches IK-PDS-1703 and the 19-inches IK-PDS-1902. Each model is equipped with a resistive touchscreen.

Built specifically for dirty or wet areas, the IK line has an IP65-rated front panel. Each model has an operating temperature of 0 degrees C – 50 degrees C, a storage temperature of -20 degrees C – 60 degrees C, and reliability of over 50,000 hours.

The new line of iKey ruggedized industrial displays is suited for consumers in food and beverage manufacturing, material handling, and industrial automation because of its robust features.

iKey explains that “Not only can it be sprayed down, but it can successfully operate in areas where normal systems may periodically fail due to debris and liquid in the air.”

The new MDT651S 65-inch LCD monitor is designed for traditional conference room visual display as well as for videoconferencing and digital signage applications.

Whether it is for digital signage, lobby displays or conference room visuals and videoconferencing, the new Mitsubishi MDT651S 65-inch large-sized monitor fits the bill with its sleek design and high-quality finish.

Unlike many digital commercial displays on the market today, Mitsubishi’s MDT651S 65-inch LCD is one of the first monitors to offer both front and rear ambient light sensors that detect lighting conditions in two areas.

Panel service life is extended while saving energy by using the 65-inch LCD monitor’s new programmable scheduling and multi-level screen saver functions.  Up to seven different intervals by time, day of the week, input port and separate content feeds can be programmed.

These sensors adjust the monitor’s brightness level based on its readings and automatically balance image brightness for optimum viewing, regardless of the brightness of the ambient light either in front of, or behind the monitor.

Available in 18.5- and 20-inch diagonal sizes, both displays feature a broad 16:9 aspect ratios, fast 5 ms response times and 5,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios. The Compaq S1922 features wide resolutions to 1366 x 768, while the Compaq S2021 offers resolutions to 1600 x 900.

Both Compaq monitors use lower power consumption panels that contain 50 percent less mercury than other four lamp LCD monitors on the market.

Pricing and availability

The HP ZR30w LCD Monitor is available for a starting price of U.S. $1,299 while the Compaq S1922 and S2021 are available in the U.S. at $125 and $140, respectively.

This multi-screen display system is built around the new PN-V601 60V-inch professional LCD monitor, which uses Sharp’s proprietary LCD technology to significantly reduce the width of the monitor’s bezel.

The width of the bezels between neighboring displays is a mere 6.5 mm, making the seams where individual LCD monitors join unobtrusive. This enables practical applications such as single large-screen video wall displays and creates new possibilities in presentation spaces not available using conventional approaches.

The Sharp multi-screen display is world’s thinnest system frame with 6.5 mm width and LED backlight gives more uniform brightness when configuring multi-screen display systems.

This multi-screen system uses Sharp’s new PN-V601 60V-inch professional-use LCD monitor, which is designed to make the seams (joins) between bezels unobtrusive and enable large multi-screen displays to be created.

The PN-V601 60V-inch professional-use LCD monitor features a full-array LED backlight. Arranging the LED elements in an evenly spaced array improves the uniformity of brightness compared to conventional CCFL (cold-cathode fluorescent lamp) backlights. In a bid to further lower energy-consumption in its products, ASUS is phasing in mercury-free LED technology into its monitor and notebook product lines.

The new Lenovo L2461x display features 23.6-inch widescreen size TFT-LCD twisted nematic, white LCD backlight display with Capacitive multitouch capability with 300 nits brightness offering 20.5 x 11.5 inch viewable display area.

The display allows maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in 16:9 aspect ratio and features .272 mm pitch, 1000:1 typical contrast ratio,  5 ms refresh rate.

The Lenovo L2461x display also provides a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera, a USB 2.0 hub cluster that has four USB 2.0 ports connections, and offers 1080p full high-definition (HD) support and  HDCP compliant.

Featuring white LED backlit panel, the Lenovo multi-touch L2461x monitor is Energy Star 5.0 compliant, allows 170 degree wide horizontal viewing angle and consumes only 27 watts power (less than 1 watt in sleep mode).

The Dell UltraSharp U2711 offers incredible performance, multiple connection options, and professional WQHD 2,560 x 1,440 resolution in a wide aspect 16:9 ratio with 12-bit internal color processing and 1.07 billion color palette, that makes it ideal for working with Full HD devices.

The Dell UltraSharp U2711 is priced at $1099 in US and is available from today in North America, South America and Asia (it will be available in Europe soon) and support for industry color standards in their work or leisure activities.
