Apple’s ‘Launch Event’ Now Scheduled On 27 Jan 2010
Apple’s mega new product launch which was earlier planned to be held on 26th January 2010 seems to have now postponed to 27th January and fresh invitations have now confirmed the event venue to be ‘Yerba Buena Center of Arts Theater in San Franscisco’.
The invitation feature “Come see our latest creation” and an illustration of stylized paint splatters but does not disclose any much details in terms of products to be launched but presents a vague clue that hints at what the event will cover. It is widely speculated that Apple will show the iSlate or Apple Tablet / iTablet which has been the subject of intense rumor for months and which is expected to be a 10-inch touchscreen tablet computer. iTablet is widely rumored to be a Amazon’s Kindle killer product
It is also widely speculated that Apple might even dare to provide a sneak peak of its upcoming iPhone OS v4.0 in show of strength to Google’s upcoming Android v2.0. iPhone 4 update would offer multitasking capabilities that allows running apps in background.
