Apple iPad Launched in Asia and Europe Markets
Apple’s iconic iPad has hit the shelves of the overseas stores (out of USA market) for the first time, though a month’s delay, with the excited customers queue-up around the Australian and Japanese stores to their hands on first possible iPad.
This was the moment the world had been waiting for as the iPad revolution finally began yesterday outside US market for first time.
The the long awaited Apple iPad tablet PC has a 9.7 inch of color touch screen allowing rich internet browsing, playing games, watching movies and reading the eBooks from iTunes stores.
The sale of iPad started in France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Britain, Canada and Spain and Apple claims that since its launch in US, Apple has sold million of new iPads in domestic as well as in select global market.
Thousands of excited iPad fans got their hands on Apple’s spectacular new touchscreen gadget after queuing for hours outside shops across the globe. In Tokyo, the buyers lined up stretching near about 800 metres in front of the Apple’s flagship store in Ginza shopping district, where over 1200 people were queued to get the device.
There were almost identical frantic scenes around the world as iPad went on sale in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Japan and Australia.
There was a huge crowd showing immense patience for their turn to get the device at any cost. The iPad with 16-GB of memory and Wi–Fi enabled starts for about $ 499 in the United States and 48,800yen ($537) in Japan.
