AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 EyeFinity 6 Edition Graphic Card Coming Soon
Planned to be officially released in during March 2010, the AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition Graphic Card would be AMD’s first Graphic card powered by ATI Eyefinity technology to offer support for upto 6-displays.
Support for Microsoft DirectX 11 gaming and computing engine with embedded with ATI’s Eyefinity multi-display Technology, the AMD ATI Radeon 5870 Eyefinity 6 graphic card is likely to have the same specifications of the original HD 5870 graphic card with only differing features will be its 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM and 6 mini video display port connectors in contrast to the DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors in regular HD 5870 card.
Bringing next-Generation HD Gaming and Multimedia to the mainstream, the ATI Radeon HD 5870 Graphics card offers ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology coupled with ATI own Stream technology allowing upto 3 monitors concurrently on a single graphic card.
The ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition graphics card offers great performance, allowing users to get the true Windows 7 experience with full DirectX11 native support, with a 2-GB dedicated DDR5 memory configuration.
Besides it includes Dolby True HD sound and DTS-HD Master Audio with 512MB of RAM enriching the home theater experience.
Build with 292 million 40nm transistors cluster the ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition card is also passively-cooled therefore does not make fan noise and it and it consumes less than 20 watts power under full load, eliminating the need for an external power connection.
Powered by 1280 stream processor giving GPU engine clock speed of 750 MHz, the ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 graphic card is PCI Express 2.1 x16 bus interface compatible and employs ATI Stream Technology to boost performance of video playback enabling superior HD gaming experience and comes with certified drivers for Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP platform and comes equipped with a 750 MHz Engine clock speed offering 104 GigaFLOPS Processing power.
ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition graphics card would be officially launched in first half of March 2010 and there is no info on the prices of this card at this point of time.
