Acer has today announced neoTouch P400 Smartphones which is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS and features 3.2-inch touchscreen and black and chrome finish handset design.

Like neoTouch P300 Smartphones the P400 also runs on recently released Windows Mobile ver  6.5.3 OS and offers host of Windows applications that includes Mail, Microsoft Exchange Server Support and Microsoft Office Mobile applications.

The slim and sleek neoTouch P400 Smartphone features black and high-gloss silver fingerprint-proof coating wrappings and is slightly thinner than the P300 at 12mm sans slide-out QWERTY keypad as in P300.  The P400 phone is also powered by 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor and it features a 3.2-inch HVGA full touchscreen display. The smartphone also has 3.2 Megapixel cameras digital cameras which comes complete with autofocus, geo-tagging capabilities, and video recording capabilities.

The neoTouch P400 Smartphones also offer full range of data connectivity options that includes multi-band 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and miniUSB 2.0 ports allowing users browse favorite information websites, update social networks and have fun online.

The Acer NeoTouch P400 also comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Suite, Google and Bing search engines, quick access to Facebook, Flickr and Blogger, and a built-in YouTube application besides offering high-definition video streaming on the go. The phone packs Windows Media Player 10, Outlook, Hotmail and Webmail support, as well as Microsoft Direct Push mail and PC syncing features to back up data on the phone to a notebook or netbook.

The neoTouch P400 also offers easy back-up & automatic wireless and web-based synchronization with your netbook or notebook, allowing you to easily manage your Contacts & Calendar and documents across all your Acer devices.

The Acer NeoTouch P400 is expected to be available worldwide in May 2010.  However, the pricing is kept under wraps.
